Cocktail

 

Cocktails are my absolute favourite. With summer on the way (finally!), I can’t wait to relax in the sun with this yummy sweet and fruity creation. A take on a traditional daiquiri, I’ve added some fresh raspberries and strawberry liqueur to turn it into the Frozen Berry Rum Crush! Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients (to make 1, so you can times it by however many guests you have over, or however many you plan to drink yourself!)

1 shot/25ml white rum

1tsp lime juice

75g raspberries

Strawberry liquor (This one’s my favourite!)

Crushed ice

 

 

Instructions

  1. Place rum, lime juice, strawberry liqueur and raspberries into a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove seeds
  3. Rinse blender and then blend the strained raspberry mixture and ice until well combined

 

To make without a blender:

Crush the raspberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, add the liquid ingredients, stir, add the ice, shake, fine strain into a glass, and drink!
